Culture Perth & Kinross
We have 115 members of staff working across 17 venues in Perth & Kinross including 13 libraries, 3 museum and gallery venues, and an archive and local family history service. Our mobile library service, now in its 100th year, makes over 100 stops every two weeks.
In 2020 we were able to open 5 libraries were open to the public from August – December as well as Perth Museum & Art Gallery. The Perth and Kinross Archive operated on an appointment only basis. We supported our services with a range of digital events, displays and by enhancing our e-library service.
Six Key Strategic Objectives
Following a review of our first year of operations (2017-18), 6 key strategic objectives were identified. These compliment national and local priorities, as set out in the National Improvement Framework and the Perth and Kinross Strategic Priorities for Culture 2018-2021 and support delivery of the key objects of Culture Perth and Kinross as set out in the Articles of Association. These inform the Strategic Operating Plan and Team Plans.
